I have my 99 A4 coupe going 13.15 in the 1/4 and putting down 311.5 on a Mustang dyno, but I want to get in the 12's without screwing up the driveability, so I want to take a poll on my next step. The car was rich on the dyno at 11.8 WOT, so I'm pretty sure, I'm getting HP tuners to replace my Predator since my LTFT's are about 1.5 to 2.0 percent positive with the VaraRam which is causeing the car to add fuel at WOT. Anyway here are my choices in the poll, also assume better tires are coming. Thanx, Jeff

I voted for headers as the H/C will probably kill your tranny in short order and gears/stall should be done at the same time you get your tranny hardened.

Good luck,

Mark

I am going gears first on my A4 as recommended by Andy at A&A.
Most people recommend only going to a 3.42 for an auto tranny.
