Default Yet ANOTHER tire pressure sensor question

Does anyone have pictures that outline the installation procedure for 04 tire pressure sensors? I want to see where the infamous O ring goes!!!

There are two types of sensors.
The older style 97-00 has a separate o-ring.
The newer style 01-04 has the o-ring integrated with the sensor.
So there is no way to install the o-ring in the wrong place.
But just for the record it goes between the sensor and the inside of the rim.

I have an '02 and didn't require the 0-rings. I believe (but I'm not certain) the O-rings were not used on '02 to current model Z06s.

The 01-04 did not have O-rings. It does have a rubber seal integrated in the unit. You also have to get the nut for each unit. http://www.etools.org/files/public/T...te_from_GM.pdf

There is a rubber washer that can be changed if yours is chewed up. It goes on the valve stem inside the wheel, a good idea is to put a light coat of silcone grease on the washer to help it seal.
