i actually looked at your doc this morning and it doesn't look like too bad of a job at all. I really want to retain the inner fenders. I don't think that they are fiberglass though. If they were they could be sectioned, widened, and reused.

Keep in mind that if you tub it yourself and tub right to the edge of the targa top bracket (like I did), then you will need to go with an offset of 84mm or less (for a 19x12 rim) in order to widen and reuse the fender liner. You can go the max offset of ~90mm, but then you won't be able to use you fender liner. Or you can go with the LPE kit, use the max offset, use fender liners, and lose your targa top mounts (or pay out the nose for some LPE extension brackets).
FYI, the fender liner is made of a plastic, but it can be cut and fiberglassed (I did it....I just didn't do a write up on it). Just be sure to roughen up the surface well before glassing.
