Broken side view mirror
I took it apart and saw what I need to do. I can't seem to get the spring compressed far down enough on the post to slide the retaining clip into the grove.
Is this making sense to anyone else? I checked my service manual and couldn't find anything under mirrors or doors.
I'm desperate to avoid taking this to the dealership. Any advice is appreciated, as always.
save your $ and time by calling ed swaneck @ 330-783-0083 ext. 15. he can fix your old mirror and guarantees the clip will not break again. this saves you having to have another mirror repainted. i heard about him on this forum and had him repair my passenger mirror. cost was arond $80 if i remember correcly.
good luck
I hope this helps!
