Headlight Alignment: Anyone have a quick How To do on this?
[B]I installed a pair of low beam Silverstars a few weeks back and must have knocked my alignment out. Can anyone post a quick How To on Headlight Allignment on a C5.
I searched this site high and low and found nothing.
Hmmm...I had the same issue kinda...the Silverstars may not have "seated" correctly..other than that it is damn hard to knock them out of alignment....and it is super easy to bend a tab ..I had to pull the whole damn thing out to fix the tab and remount the assembly

When I installed my PIAA replacement lamps I could not get all three tabs in on the low beams. No matter what I tried they would not go in which resulted in the lamp being way out of alignment. I could reinstall my stock lamp on the first try and they went in perfectly. I actually had to take the lamp, remove the "O" ring and take a dremel to the surface of the base and sand off .006 of material. After that they went right in. I have never heard of anyone else haivg this issue.
I had to adjust my headlights after putting in Silver Star Bulbs. I forget when the screws are (there are 2 on each headlight), but be careful as the gears are plastic and you can strip them.
