I can shed a little bit of light on the active handling warming up issue I think.. You will get that message when ever you start the car and drive a bit at slow speed, under 10 or 12 miles and hour. I get this message when I take my Z to work and I am driving around the parking lot at slow speeds after work. It is normal and nothing to worry about if the message goes away after the warming is complete..

I don't have the manual at work

What does it say for

P0410 and P0420c???

AH Warming up typically shows up if you are TURNING within the first XX feet (I don't know exactly how many). Parking lot/garage is a good example - the AH calibrates with a straight wheel.

I've not heard of this lasting more than a few seconds though. As soon as you straighten out for a bit it should go off.

Sounds to me maybe an electrical problem or a bad sensor on one of the wheels... sorry I can't help much more.

You need to get yourself a GM Service Manual so you can read the code descriptions, what causes them to be set and the diagnostic procedures related to them. My manual is for a 97 so does not have some of the codes you have posted.

The P0410 (can't tell if it is current "c" or "h" from your post) is a PCM code indicating you have a problem with the Air Injection Reaction System.

The P0420 C is a current Vs historical PCM code indicating you have a catalytic convertor problem.

The P1125 code indicates a problem with the Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) sensors. This code will not be set unless two or more of the 3 sensors are out of range, disagree, etc. When that happens the code is set and you get reduced engine power.

The C1278 C is a current code indicating that the PCM sees something wrong with one or more of the parameters it monitors (probably the parameters that are causing the two PCM 04 series codes to be set) and has shut down Traction Control. The code is used for diagnostic purposes to tell the tech there is nothing wrong with the ABS/TCS system (in your case the ABS/AH system).

You can get all the codes and how to use the DIC at HALTECH's site: http://www.corvettec5.com/installinfo.html

Good luck.

The problem is that it is just a list of codes and is not much use in diagnosing any problem. You need to know the conditions that can cause a code to set and the diagnostic procedures that need to be followed. Not all of them require a Tech 2. The manual helps you understand the logic of the person who designed the on board diagnostics and helps you get to the root cause of a problem where as having a code without any explanation is incrementally better than useless.

That guy's but the problem i'm having is that i know what these codes mean and ive done everything gm has asked me to like replaced the rear left shock and from wheel speed sensor. i dont understand why after all that i get reduce engine power and actv hadling warming up it does not go away. the reduce engine power on some days it does it just once but other days 30 times in 10 min. it gives me app codes. Gm cant figure out what it is because it never does it when i take it to them. is there a way to adjust the app.c P1125 APP System
P1281 APP Sensor 2 Circuit Performance

thanks
