Default Nick Williams 90mm Throttle Body

Where can I purchase a Nick Williams 90mm Throttle body? Do I have to supply a core? My 408 stroker is finally finished and ready to go in. I understand this is the only 90mm throttle body with problemless tunability with the 90mm FAST intake.

Contact any of the Tuners on this Board - they should have it or be able to get it.

This is the first I have heard of this TB. Is it true that there are no tuning issues when using it with the 90mm FAST?

There will always be some PCM re-calibration required anytime you alter/increase the VE of an engine, its just this unit requires less time with it to dial it in compared to others on the market and it allows much more idle throttle control/quality when large duration camshafts are used.

DTE

I was one of the first to Run Nicks TB. Had a little trouble at the begining with idling, but after Nick made some adjustments runs great now. BTW: Nick's a good guy as well

We just put one of his new revision throttle bodies on yesterday and it worked perfect. With the old one, I had to do a little tweaking on the tuning. With the new one, I actually put the idle and airflow tables back to stock and it worked absolutely flawlessly. Perfect idle. I was very pleased and would definitely recommend it even if you don't have any local tuning capabilities!

PLEASE elaborate. What did you do to revise it? I am VERY interested in it. ANd is this a revised Nick Williams 90mm TB you talk about?

How much? Do you require a core?

The revision was in the machining processes at the manufacturer and as stated earlier, we do require your core.

The completed unit is $599 and we also transfer/re-index your original electronics and stepper motor to the new throttle body for you, so when you receive the completed unit, it's ready to bolt on your intake manifold.

One techinical note worth mentioning: This unit has no provision for engine coolant passages like the O.E. piece, (who really wants that anyway unless your driving your car in the winter....) so you have to bypass the O.E. throttle body coolant hoses.

Regards,
DTE
