Kumho MX - review

Replaced my bald michelin pilot sports 295's with a fresh set of kumho mx's in the same size.....the difference in traction between these two tires is night and day. The kumho's feel like drag radials compared to the pilots! Traction in 1-3 with the pilots was nonexistent - the kumhos grab and barely spin in first, with no spin in 2/3. I haven't tried them on the bottle yet, but take off from stoplights is much better now. I have no doubt that I can pull 1.7 - 1.8 60' at the dragstrip with these tires (I do 1.9's with the pilots). These are great tires as the handling is awesome as well.....I'm happy I didn't sacrifice my cornering and put on drag radials!

I have the same tires and love them, but I hope you're not comparing bold tires to the new tires!! . Way too many people forget this point
