When is it time to install a Hardened output shaft? 400RWHP? 450RWHP? What is the threshold of the stock output shaft, before you have to worry about breaking it?
Is a hardened output shaft part of the package when you get a "heavy duty" diff? It's hard to tell if these items are separate things from the catalogue packages.
I looked into having them installed a few months ago and was told by a friend and vette mech. that is you have one part that will give under extreme stress you want it to be the cheapest to replace. Thats why I still have stock shafts. I was also told that with an a4 you really don't get the preasure you do with a stick. thats all I have for ya
