I'm hoping some Hi 11 sec. c5s will chime in as to what it took to get there. Preferably n/a . Mines appeared to start off about 3 to 4 tenths off the "average" c5 which "I ve come to the conclusion of 13.6x.I ran 12.80 with everything in sig. but ls6 intake, cam and tuning. After everything in sig. I 'm only at 343/320 with tune which based on my calculations and a good launch(hope the Michelins hold up) I should get a low 12 or maybe a hi 11. Anyways what do you guys think( all opinions)? and how did you get to the 11's??? thanks

Maybe I missed it but your sig said 2.73s. If so change to at least 3.42s. I run 11:30's (on a cool day) with h/c, headers, 3800 Yank and 3:42s. You should get there with gears.
Your going to need at least a gear change 3.42's - 3.73's and some traction!! The Nitto DR's will work for you ..You need to really heat them up..probably at 12 psi. and pump up the front tires to 38-40psi.
Now you will need to flash the converter on the launch try 1200-1400 rpm's and let 'er rip on the third yellow.
You should see lower short times and be in the bottom 12's or even hi 11's on a cool dry day.. I have some videos from when I was in the 11's on my website link below in my sig ..take a look
Gears, a larger converter, and sticky tires will get you there in good weather. I ran a 11.6 @ 114 with stock internals, no nitrous, so high 11's are definitely within reach for you.

Yeah I know but trying to do it with the 2.73s. Have my cake and eat it too...

Vstella.. I thought 1.80 was pretty good but I like the info on flashing it instead of bringing the rpms up with the brakes. I'll look at your website.

Face... you would"nt happen to know your dyno # when you were at 11.60s'???
At what MPH was your 12.8 run? MPH is a *much* better indication of HP than a dyno. Without your MPH it's difficult to say how easy it will be for you to run a low 12 / high 11. For example I have run 12.9's @ 123 MPH.. For me the answer is simple: replace the run-flats.

Look at my sig. It takes that plus a good launch. My 11.80 was on drag radials with a 1.78 60 ft. time. Launching is the key...assuming you have the power of course. Good luck.
Joe
You will need 3.42 gears and a looser convertor (It depends on what you are confortable with on the street). I ran a Vig. 3000, that by the way is for sale in the parts section. I ran 11.80 with 380 HP and drag radials in 2000' of air.
