Hey guys.
Found out that they have the special pricing until this weekend. I am going to order tom. Will I have LEAN CODES? 2003 zo6.
Id like to throw the intake on and drive around for a few weeks before I tune her. I might to a cam so I am going to wait on the tune a few weeks. Let me know. Thanks

There have been lean codes in Z06s only. I spoke to Andy at A&A and he mentioned that other aftermarket intakes cause Z06s to throw lean codes as well. He did say that tuning will, in most cases solve the problem and boost the RWHP even more than with the new intake alone.
Only cars with screenless MAFs. That's '02 thru '04 Z06s seem to have the issue. My '04 throws the codes. Jim Hall told me GM has had a lot of issues with the screenless MAF and have gone back to a screened MAF on the C6. Guess it remains to be seen if the screen stays on the new Z.
I cut a hole in the shroud and fashioned a makeshift air scoop from a clothes dryer exhaust vent. The warhead filter sits on top of it so cold air can enter through the bottom of the filter. My hope is to smooth out the air going through the filter giving the pcm more accurate readings from the MAF. So far no codes even though the weather has cooled down recently where I live. Not nearly enough miles on this setup yet to draw any conclusions. If I continue to be code free, I will let everyone know.
