I have a 99 FRC, 6 spd. Sometimes when I back up and ride the cluthch a bit, I smell something like burning rubber. I have checked my belts and tires and there seems to be no problem with those components. Could this smell be originating from the clutch?

Quit using hi RPM'S (my guess ) when backing up while riding the Clutch and You should be fine..
