Default Tuning Options????

No replies in Scan and Tune so ...looking for help here...

My 99 6spd with cold air Blackwing, LS6 intake, SVO 30lbs., 224 .581 114 cam, LS6 ported and polished heads, UD pulley, 1 3/4 Kooks - needs a tune. For all three options the price is very close...

A LS1 edit based on LS1 Ease scan data ... a mail order data analysis and tune...tuner has a good rep

An LS1 edit dyno tune... most likely with FLP or LS1Speed

Or get a hand held programmer like Vinnci (SP) and do it myself....

Humble opinions and biased viewpoints welcome....

You need a dyno tune (or a wideband O2 setup) to true up your WOT AFR. The other options won't afford you the WOT AFR tweaking.

I purchased LS1Edit and the module for my car. Found a couple buddies to go in on it so we share the module among the three of us. We could add one more if we want to. This gives us the ability to mess with the programming ourselves or take the module to a tuner and have an experienced dyno tune which I did after replacing my cam.....
