4:10 Gears
Hello Guys,
I want to get a set of 4:10 gears. Firts off, where do I get them ? How much should I expect to pay for them ? How much should i expect to pay for the instalation ? Lastly, does anyone know of anybody in the Boston Mass area who works on Corvettes and could install my new gears once I get them?

Some of the vendors here on CF have them. I've seen them for a approx $1200. And i don't know about any places in Mass, but a place here when i asked that question said $500 for install. You may find a place cheaper near you? but gives you a ballpark.

You may want to contact Cartek in NJ they are running a special on gears right now. $1095 installed. Might be a little far for you travel though.

On the left side of your display the forum lists the sponsors just click on Cartech. Yesteday I was surfing on the Forum and a sponsor had the rear section complete for $1025 sorry you'll have to look, I can't find it. Gary

a car shop in Westchester call me friday and told me about the "special " they are having. For $2500.00 they will install new gears and tune the car. I wished them luck because I thought the price was a little high. It was a gear change not a rear change

These guys are in CT - is that too far?? They are as honest as the day is long. Big in F-Body community ...they do Vettes also. Eastside is the home of "NoGo" aka Kevin Hagerty....handsdown the Best LS1/6 tuner in the USA (not debatable since Godspeed retired).
