Default DIC codes ????

I've been watching all the assorted threads about specific error codes and seen the lists of what the various codes mean. I also understand the difference between "current codes" and "history codes".
My question / confusion is in regard to some of the responses that suggest that certain error codes are "normal" and should be cleared and ignored. The question is how can you seperate the "normal" codes from the "problem" codes?
I certainly want to be reactive to the codes that need attention, but at the same time, I don't want to be a slave to my DIC code read-out.

This is a very difficult question to answer. It depends on whether the code pops up again, whether you're driving the car at the time or sitting in your driveway, etc., etc.

Some codes can be thrown, be reset, and never come back again. Normally, these codes are really not a problem.

Some codes are much more serious that others. Those dealing with pressures and temps being outside of the system tolerances, for example, may require you to have the vehicle flatbedded to the dealer.

Trying clearing the codes and see if they return. As a rule of thumb, IMHO, if a code recurs, you probably need to take it to the dealer.
