I have a 2004 Black Coupe with about 1500 miles on it now. Last night as I was backing out of the driveway I heard a "thud" or noise come from the rear passenger side. This is the 3rd time I have heard this "thud" and it is usually around the first time I drive it for the day. There was absolutely nothing around the car that would have caused it. Does anyone know what this is?
I've seen posts about "strange" noises and seen comments posted about flexing of the panels behind the driver and/or passenger seats.
Believe it or not, the "fix" I've read for this is to pull and lock the seat forward and hit the area behind the seat with a ball peen hammer to remove some of the flex from the panel.
No kidding, that's what people posted.
I've not had that problem so never had to "install" the "fix."
