Default Suspension Package Questions

First off, I have a 2000 Convertible and am curios as to how I would find out what options came on my Vette. I especially would like to know the suspension package option and if possible what size gears came factory in the rear end. It's an automatic so I am assuming that it is 2:73 or 3:15....

Also, I currently have the car up on jackstands replacing the rotors so it would be nice to upgrade to the Z06 swaybar kit, lower the rear end with the larger bolts (by the way, what parts do I need for this?), and upgrade the shocks to ones that will work better with a lowered car.

Any input would be greatly apreciated......

You can pull the RPO codes from your glovebox listing and/or get the building sheet from the National Corvette Museum. See their website.

To de-code the codes, go here:
http://corvetteactioncenter.com/specs/index.html
You're right on the stock A4 gearboxes: 2.73 or 3.15 are the only options. I think G92 is the 3.15 but I could be wrong.

Plenty of threads out there on lowering the C5. Do an archive search for that subject.

Lastly, many of the vendors sell swaybars and shocks new and, of course, you're likely to find a good deal through the C5 Parts link to the left of your screen.

Hope this helps!
