Oil Spots
First of all, checking the oil on the dipstick of the C5 is a pain. I have to do it about 3 times to get a good read. I topped up the oil recently by about a 1/2 quart of Mobil 1.
I have made a few long trips of late and on each return noticed small black spots on the rear bumper of my C5. They seem to be decreasing now and gone. Almost seems as though there is an overflow. Oil level seems down a bit but not much. Being a newbie, not too sure and would appreciate feedback.

Did you get a little giddy with the gas pedal during your long trips? I've noticed a little oil film on the rear when I get back from the track, and just chalk it up to using a bit more oil at WOT.
