mileage vs. problems

I have been reading these post for a year now. It seems like there are a lot of common problems such as Diff. leaks, CL's, etc. What is the forums opinion on what causes these problems. From a lot of the post I read a good many of these problems happened on low mileage cars. Could not driving them cause problems? The reason I ask, is my car is my daily driver with 50,000+ miles and I have never had one single issue with this car(other than gas guage, but new brand of gas fixed that). Maybe just lucky(crossed fingers)or maybe I just cursed myself!

my 03 started leaking diff fluid at about 40,000 miles

My 99 FRC has never thrown a code, leaked a drop nor had any malfunctions after 73K. Only problems were gas guage (fixed) and mild case of rocking seat (living with it..)

We traded our '98 with 60K miles on the '02, but never had any real problems. I expect to get well over 120K outta this one.

Only problem with my '02 with 12000 miles has been with one of the headlight motors running after the door shut. Everything else has been trouble free.
