Just got finishing my interior few days ago. If you can come out to Maryland I can help you pull the steering wheel. LOL 
You can purchase the puller "fingers" from Snap-On or Kent Moore (supplies GM) tools. Don't try any other pullers or you will distroy the wheel. Here is something you can look forward to.................

I've got illustrated procedures from the manual I can send you if you're interested. Remember you have to be very careful dealing with the airbag. The procedures deal with that as well.
