It was very loud. I got rid of my loud mouths. I do have the SLP X-Pipe w/ resonator on the car, but looking to sell it. No need to have that now that I have Z06 Ti's.

Gmf , so if I went with Headers I would probably want to get an X-pipe set up if I wanted to keep my Loudmouths..either that or switch to something a bit more tame like the Corsa Indys??

i have slp headers, hiflo cats magnaflow cat back, blackwing on my o2 a4.the magnaflow xpipe wouldn't fit back on after the slp's. i dynoed at 313 hp ,322 tq on a+a's corvettes (california) on only 91 octane.pulled a 12.69 1/4 mile with these mods and a ss3200 yank .had a few issues with the slp's, but now are resolved and i am ok with them.

No - not for the headers. I wanted the Xpipe w/ Resonator to match up with the loud mouth exhaust.

slp issues.1.instructions say 9.5 hrs. install for prof. mechanic.muffler shop took 14 hrs.i called another shop w/ vette -slp experience and was quoted 15 hrs.i had a starter problem (ceramic cracked and the posts weren't making contact) because of faulty wire install (installers fault)?but you have to pull the header off to pull starter.had to do it twice and finally they spliced the wires higher up to run 1 wire to a post ,covered it in fireproof asbestos and lengthened it to run it further from the headers. 2.a few weeks after initial install i started showing code p1153,bank 2 sensor 1 insufficient switching . i would delete it 2 or 3 times per day with my predator .i have changed the sensors 3 times and still get it on a regular basis. slp advised me to have the code removed from the computer by edit or they could do it.anyhow , like i have said i'm happy with them now and it did make a difference in sotp feel and in 1/4 mile times(about .25 seconds )

I had the same prob with the wiring on mine. I had the headers, no cats, x-pipe (weld on) and loudmouth on for over 4 months and it sounded great. I loved the old muscle car sound when I was driving. It was great to make Harley owners come up to you and say that the car is way to loud. I had the same setup though with the Borla Stingers (2 tip) and I switched to the loudmouths because the borlas sounded importy (high-pitch resonance) without the cats and headers on the car. I got lucky on the install price because the speed shop I went to had never done them on anyone (including f-bodies) and gave me a price quote for install on TPIS headers. The increase in horsepower was awesome, it was like a whole new beast.
