By your own words the ceramic coating only cost around $30. So why can't you drop your coated plate down to $219?

So you have to drill 36 bolt holes in the frame?...Thats a lot of work to get on isnt it?...I bet it works nice once installed...

I just saw in a link above that you can use the same holes from the stock Torque Tube Channel Cover...my bad...

If I wasn't on the other side of the country I would be there tomorrow and have you do this to mine...

man you are fast...I just changed my above post to reflect what you just said...I'd gladly pay that for your product...can you come here to Virginia to do the work for me?...I will get other stuff done at the same time....and I will pay for your round trip plane ticket...

I also forgot to ask why you didn't put the plate on yours...

"2000 Millenium Yellow Coupe A-4, K&N FIPK, Z-51 swaybar upgrade(Powdercoated Mil. Yellow), Removed MAF screen, Euro Tail Lights, 178 deg Thermostat, DBA Slotted and Crossdrilled Rotors w/Ceramic Pads, Z06 Foglamp Screens and More Planned"

Just curious...

Fly to Virginia...HMMMMMM>>>>>>The Plate IS on my car. a 2000 coupe slammed and upgraded sways only to Z-51 and Bilstien sport shocks. The car drives like night and day is different. Went mountain runnin sunday and did the 180 and hairpins at 70 mph with no loss of ttraction sideslides or sways. The interior is cooler and the A/C works better. Tires are now tacking better no sideways jumps anymore when ruts or holes are hit and wind noise is gone. Mark

I have no idea what the plate bolts to, but is there any possibility of damaging or cracking the frame rails by bolting in a more rigid stiffner?

The plate stiffens but does not transfer significant stress to other points of the car to hurt it.
