Mystery Intake...
I own a second-owner 99 C5 FRC and I can't figure out if the previous owner had installed an LS6 intake manifold in place of the LS1 intake...
How can you distinguish between the two?
Some guy said if the intake has a rhomboid shape close to the T.B it is an LS6 intake...and that is what mine is like...
Can anybody help?

Look for the coolant tubes under the throttle body. If the tube goes through the center of the Intake then you have an LS1 intake. If the tube goes around the outside of the intake then you have an LS6 intake.
LS6 intake is FLAT on the bottom of it.
LS6 intake is FLAT on the bottom of it.
