Default Halltech Stinger GP Intake System is a go!!!

By popular demand, the Halltech Stinger GP is back! Special pricing is good from today through September 5th. Heres the deal:

1-5 orders, 225.00 plus shipping.
6-10 orders, 199.00 plus shipping.
11+ free shipping.

From Halltech's Website

The Halltech Stinger Intake is our newest intake system, and is one of the best intake systems available for the money. It features the same 25% more than stock flow numbers of our TRAP, but is an underhood intake, which does not capture cold air as does the TRAP. Ease of installation, and cost will make this one of the most popular Halltech intakes ever. The Tunnel Bridge replaces the stock bridge, which is the most restrictive part of the C5 intake system. With our 100 mm straight shot at the throttle body and 15% more plenum volume, coupled with the largest filter ever made for the C5, you'll feel the power. This is the same filter made for the TRAP, but it has been redesigned for simple installation at the end of the MAF. No cutting, no lift required, just 5 minutes to install. Kit comes with instructions and carries a lifetime warranty.

Thank you and please email us for questions on this product.

TTT for ya.
I already have the Stinger-R and it is a great setup for the money!! Bridge and larger air filter together for that price, you can't beat it!

100% This is the best bang for the buck system out there, bar none!

I gained a huge seat-of-the-pants boost after installing this intake system. Also, for those of you who don't normally drive through monsoon rainstorms, you might want to try my cold air mod - downloadable from the Halltech website - see http://www.corvettec5.com/installinfo.html

to ensure all that power doesn't get "dialed back" when the underhood temps exceed 100 degrees.

I completely agree I just installed mine today; it's my first mod (other than CLB). I can really tell the engine is breathing better, less bogging and snappier acceleration. The install was fairly easy, and the car ran great with no codes at all.

Does anybody have independent dyno numbers for this product added to a stock C5?

Nate, will you be listing the number sold so we can keep up with the discount gates?

Any issues with the filter not being as good as say the stock for keeping hte engine clean? Is it the same type of filter as a K&N, cleanable etc?

I believe you have a choice of a cotton, K&N-style Warhead filter or a Remay (I think that's what they call it) synthetic-fiber Warhead filter. A Z06 with Remay filter had been run to over 20,000 miles, the engine was disassembled, and upon inspection, all components were as-new. I believe it was Jim Hall who performed this test.

I have the Remay, although the K&N-style cotton would suit me just as well.

Surely, you can keep a $199.00 receipt away from her! It'll be the best return on the dollar you'll make - an excellent first mod.
