I thought of a new product and wanted to see if people would be interested. It will basically allow you to change the engine timing when you turn your nitrous on. This means you will be able to have your timing set optimally with both the nitrous on and off without running ls1edit each time you race.
I don't want to give away too many details about it but wanted to know if anyone would be interested and how much they would pay for it. I'm thinking less than $50 or so. Install would be less than 5 minutes but would require ls1edit.
So this is a poor man's version of the Timing Tuner? For a reliable $50 timing tool, I'm sure you'd have lots of takers but you'd have to prove it's reliability. Also, the requirement for LS1 Edit is not very practical for a lot of owners. If someone has to pay a tuner to install the timing tool, it negates the cost savings.
I didn't realize the product already exsited. It looks like that exact same thing I thought of. Kinda funny but I should have known it would already exist. The $290 price is outragous. My design only had about $10 worth of parts in it. Can someone point me to a website explaining how the timing tuner works or maybe even installation instructions. Thanks.
I don't have quick access to the instructions but a couple of members here run one of those and hopefully will chime in here. Phil97SVT posted this thread recently:
