Here are the final pics of the roll bar that was designed for my 2004 vert It was designed by Reese *** at MTI racing in GA. The top is still fully functional. There are 4 back braces that you can not see in the pics that are welded to the frame along with the cross hoop. This allowed no modifications or cutting at all.
Looks good!! Can you take some pics with the tonneau cover up. Does it have swing-out or detachable door bars or a cross bar ? Is the top fully functional with the bar in place??
that is cool Just wondering how much did it cost and does it have to be so high, or can you liwer it about an inch or two but then I guess that defeats the purpose of a roll bar DUH!!

I will take some more pictures for you but it will be next week. Car is in the shop having a manual tranny put it.
The top is a breeze to put up and down. The design allows to main hoop to tilt forward when not at the track. This allowed full functionality without cutting or having the bar to forward on the seats. When at the track the main hoop locks and bolts to the down bracing. Awesome concept and design IMHO.

For evertything including powder coating, welding to frame, harness mount bar, etc. was $3000. Not a bad price to feel completely safe entering a turn at high speeds.
Doesn't it need a diagonal cross bar and be at least 2" above the helmet to pass tech?
It meets the 2" requirement no problem.
We are hoping with the 2 down braces/supports the diag will not be needed for SOLO certification. If so, we are going to do diagonal out from center to both sides. With the current set-up there is no loss to rear vision through the mirror. This was another goal of the design.
