Help I have an idle problem
The car will idle around 650 most of the time and then all of a sudden it will drop to 300 or so and the car even cut off. I put in new O2 sensors, plugs and wires cleaned the t/b put in new mass sensor. The problem is the worst when I just start or when I put it in reverse. If I rev the motor the car will almost cut off. I can find the problem and the GM tech can find a code. It will do it with the A/C on or off hot or cold I just don't get it. You can see the list of my mods.
i'm assuming you have no faults and am assuming your mods have been in place for awhile and this problem just began.you said that when you crack the throttle[rev it],the motor stalls, when it stalls,do you still have fuel pressure?a air/vacuum leak could be possible, but i would expect you would have a lean fault stored.have you checked your fuel trims?when you changed maf's,did you use a known good one?also wouldn't hurt to look at the map sensor.you also said it is more pronounced when it's cold or when you put it in reverse.how does it run when it's hot and put in reverse?

The only mod that is new is the dyno tune but the idle is set at 650 you can read it when you scan the car. I put a new fuel filter in and had the psi check. I was lean before the tune. When I put in the maf's on it was new from GM. I'm not sure how to check the map sensor. When it's hot it will run fine as long as I keep the rpms up but if I back up sometimes it will start to chock out.
