Hitting the limiter?
Ladies and Gentlemen,
My limiter is at 6600. Shift points at 6000. Why is it when the tires break loose I hit the limiter??
Note.... New prof built HD tranny installed..

I understand this happenning with a 6 speed.
The reduced resistance does make sense. I was sorta thinking that had something to do with it. I was "assuming" it revved up faster than the tranny could shift.
Any other ideas out there?
