If not you should! You own awesome performance cars and most do mods to increase performance, so why not make a trip to your local track to see how your car performs? This Sat, Aug 28th is T&T during the day at BMP in west/central FL, and at 4 PM the Eckler's Florida Corvette Challenge is run.
You have the car, you do the tune & the mods, so go have fun and see how it runs!
I will see you again this winter when we rent out BMP again which is one of the best tracks in the country.....A bunch of my F-body friends and I will be there.....
Seems to be a good mix here..but the real question is this, I estimate 70-80% of vette owners, (at least C5 owners) add mods and/or tuning of some type to enhance power, and some go by seat of the pants, but a 1/4 mile run or two set's a base line so you can see the return you got for your investment. A road race track would show the lap time improvements as well, so why don't more go to auto cross, road race or my favorite, drag strip?
Most Corvette owners are not interested in speed! Only a small percentage do modification and take their car to a track, especially the ones not on the forum.

That"s the kind of "above it all" statement that I really can't stand!!!
BFWIW I do drag race my vet about once to twice a month to see if
the mods are working.Last time there it was hot but ran 112.39 mph.
My 60 ft. times sucked (2.29) bought some drag radials now just need to find a non rainy weekend.
I have better things to do than hang out with the rice burners and the white trash that go to the drag strip. Track days or autoX.
I'd much rather see the ricers on the track than plowing into me on the street...also, I've drag raced with CEO's, doctors, lawyers and successful company owners...best group of "white trash" folks I've ever met...
BTW, it's Saturday so don't forget..."wax on, wax off"...
