Biggest problem is getting the rear of the car high enough, approx. 36". Recommend spending a few bucks at a muffler shop.
We have a shop here where we can use their hoist and tools for $20.00 per hour and I would really like to try this myself. Seems like a diy project.

if you are confident about your jacking skills (and safety), DIY! It took me nailing 3 2x8s together on top of my 22" jack lift to get my c5 high enough. position the lift point slightly towards the drivers side to help with the passenger side exhaust. you might want to get a new exhaust flange gasket on older installations.

In that case, it a very easy job. Click on "other" at the top of the page and go to tech tips and look for exhaust install. That'll give all the info.
