Default Help with Lug bolts

I went to order new lug bolts at the local parts store.

They don't have the bolts and can't order.

Can I just order the bolts alone?

Can I just replace the bolts? When I remove the rotors will they slide out.

Wait a minute are you talking about the lug bolts or studs? The studs are pressed into the rotors and a big process to remove.

There is a plate behind the rotors, That is where the studs are pressed into. It is a easy job if you have the right tool. Kent-moore has a real nice tool for removing the studs. When I had a C4 I replaced all of the studs. The C5 looks like it would be the same.

As an FYI, to get to the back of the rear studs on a C5/Z06, you have to take the wheel bearing off the car, which I've done, but it isn't exactly a five minute job. Took me all afternoon. I replaced my entire rear wheel bearings as a unit, which included new studs.
