Need your help picking my next mod.
I have a 2000 A4 convertable with Borla 4 tip stingers, Diablo Predator and a Black wing. The cars runs great, I'm just looking for more. Like all of us I got bit by the go fast bug. I live in CA. and would like to keep the car legal, so long tubes and cat. removal is out. Any ideas, my budget is about $1,500.00.

I was thinking about gears, are the 3.42s the way to go or something lower ? What is the usual labor cost for installation ? My car has 3.15s in it now. And I believe Nitrous is Illegal in California. You guys are great.

I'm not sure you will notice much difference from 3.15s to 3.42s? You might want to consider the 3.73s? BTW, the 3.42s are very hwy friendly and I've read the same on 3.73s.Keep us posted.
