I am about to start my project....I've done the B&B TriFlow Bullets already and the K&N FIPK and now ready to do the heads, cam, rockers and a polished Magi blower. How large of a cam can I install before I run into p/v issues? I know its also depending on the overlap of the cam and other issues. Also, Cometic make the SS head gaskets for the LS1?
Rockers.....which ones for the best quality and the least hassle?
If your going with a blower then you want to stay away from monster cams that lead to fly cutting pistons, pick a cam with 114* or more LSA and an exhaust duration 230 or less and keep your intake duration around 220. Anything more and you'll just be pushing boost out the exhaust valve.
BTW - the specs on my cam are 221/228 duration (I'd have to double check my spec sheet but I'm almost positive thats what it is) .581/.588 lift and 114 LSA
