Some idiot decided to break my driver side mirror. It's now freely swinging back and forth. It doesn't look like I have any options other than to epoxy it, or replace the entire mirror. I'm not sure if gluing it is going to work well as a permanent solution. Is there any other way to fix this?

I had to replace the same mirror.I think the mirror was in $125 range it will have to be painted and then installed.Installing the mirror is no joke .If I remember right the whole thing cost around $300
