Alarm problem
For no apparent reason, my car is now arming itself when I shut it off and both doors have been closed. Mind you, I did not change the Passive alarm setting on the remote (it's in the OFF position). The odd thing is, as long as the remote is in the vicinity of the car, it will keep arming itself until it's out of range. Is it possible that the battery in the remote needs replaced?
Looking for your suggestions to fix Christine

Resynch the fob - stand next to car and press both lock and unlock until the horn honks.
Try setting the fob to passive on and then back to off.
Take the fob out of range and try your other fob.
If you continue to see the bahavior with the second fob then disconnect the battery (car battery) for 5 minutes. Reconnect and see if behavior continues.
See you dealer.
