just wondering if anyone install one of these yet! would like to here some feed back. found it on westcoast corvettes. they say simple plug in to eliminate that annoying 1st to 4th shift thanks
Popular mod. This was the first thing I did when I bought my C-5. Works great, no problems. I got mine from Mid America but one's probably as good as the other. You might also think about getting the Steering Column Lock Bypass too.

If you have LS1 Edit, you can use that to turn off the skip shift feature. Or, have your dyno-tuner do it for you. Mine was turned off this way.

What's that skip shift all about?how is it suposed to be good for you?i don't get it....can someone explain this to me..?i own a A4 but was allways curious as what to people reffer to with the skip shift.....
the skipshift forces you to go from 1st to 4th gear under certain driving conditions in a manual tranny. it was implemented to get a better MPG rating on the vettes, and avoid a gas guzzling tax.
