Reason: problem solved
I plugged a nail hole in my Goodyear run flats and drove on it for 10k, (until the tires needed replaced). It never leaked. I Coated the plug with rubber cement and brought the tire up to pressure before the repair.

The Goodyear EMT is rated as follows: Rated to travel 200 miles in 73 degree weather at 55 MPH with the car at gross Weight. The tire can be repaired after a runflat incident up to 50 miles at 55 MPH.
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Zero Pressure tires are rated for 50 miles at 55 MPH and also can be repaired after a runflat incident.
THe Firestone SZ50EP RFT and the Yokohama AVS Sport Run-Flat tires are rated to travel up to 50 miles at 55 MPH in a run-flat state, but cannot be repaired after a runflat incident.
I had a rock 1-1/2"x 1" go thru my tread and into the rear tire. The origional g/y were tired (31k), but Costco in Prescott put a patch on it and I drove it 60+ miles back to Phoenix on I-17, and for the next week until my new Michelins came in.
