Please help - Evaporator Core ??
My 97 TRC MN6 A/C has been on the fritz and I brought her in to the shop. I'm told that I have a leaky Evaporator core which is located in the dash. The cost to replace was quoted at around $800.00 (ouch!). The way the leak was found was with a gizmo that read freon (or the new ozone friendly stuff) coming from the vents. Anyone had/have the same problem ?? thanks in advance for any and all recommendations.
