That depends on a lot of things. Assuming the car is tuned properly I have heard that a 224/224 @114lsa is about as large as you should go. I have read about larger cams passing, but that may have been tuned to pass CA smog and wouldn't run well otherwise, then retuned after inspection. I have done some simulations and have found a 224/228 @114lsa has no overlap. Overlap is what causes a cam to fail emissions, a 224/224 @114 has -2 degrees overlap. a 224/228 @114 has 0 degrees of overlap so that might also work.

Thanks for the great information. Concvention wisdaom seems to suggest that 224/224 @ 114 is the way to go. I have recently gotten this from others too. Also another forum member just reported that his cam just passed CA smog using a 224/224, Don't know the LSA yet. Sure is great to share information. I am leaning towards the LG Motorsport 224/224 P/N:G2-114.
