Default Need Advise on Pulling Engine

I blew something in my engine this week. Darn, just an excuse to to soup her up a bit I guess. My question is for those of you who have done this before, are there any surprises ahead of me when I start to pull this thing out? I have been told I need to take off the front suspension and that I am going to need a special tool to take off the leaf spring. If so is there any way to do this without that tool, or should I go order one. I have pulled motors before, but I have been told this one is tricky. Thanks for all the help!

It can come out the top,but remove heads and intake manifold first. If you go out the bottom the spring is no big deal if you remove the tops of both A arms, close fit but it will slide out.
