Titanuim Z06 mufflers; differences explained
I happened to run across a video intended to introduce dealers to the new (at that time "new") Z06. The video is way-too-LARGE for me to post, but I extracted the portion dealing with muffler differences.
the info???
1. the internals of the titaniums are different (mainly larger interior tubing to reduce back pressure)
2. intentional sound improvement, that has more to do with muffler tuning-changes, than the differing audio properties of the titanium material itself.

That is part of the owners manual video that came with the 2002 Z06.
The video has some pretty good track footage, just the thing to watch before going out for an afternoon blast around town...
