Codes P1416 & P1571??

Codes P1416 & P1571??
My car is a '97 A5, and upon the first few minutes after startup, I constantly get the following two codes:
P1416 AIR System bank 2-B
P1571 ASR Desired Torque -C
I have never received these codes before in conjunction with one another, and I've had the car for a few years.
Although somewhat common to earlier vettes is the TCS / ABS "communications glitch," unfortunately, I cannot ignore the check engine light constantly popping up because of this overall code combination.
My question: Is there anything short of removing the intake manifold and replacing the air aspirator valve to remove the 1416 code? Does this require a Tech 2 computer to further diagnose?

Done any air intake mods lately?
I'm doing this from memory and that is always dangerous, but the 1416 code poped up on mine w/ check engine light, when I switched to a Vortex Air intake. The secondary air hose that feeds the air pump on start up was clogged/ kinked. I ended up putting a small breather on it and all was well.
No experience on the other code. I'm sure others will respond.
