Dale, thanks. Your WD-40 suggestion did the trick. My trunk only popped up enough to get my fingers under about 10% of the time. I even took it to the dealer and they said they fixed it. NOT! I sprayed a little WD-40 on the latch to night and now it works perfectly....several times.

I found that this problem occurs due to the rubber weatherstripping. If you adjust the stops you are putting some load on the trunklid. Just put some silicone on the weatherstripping and it will pop right up again.
