Differential Lubricant suggestions?
I am going to change the fluid in my 3.42 differential for the first time. I am at 12000 miles. Any suggestions of what to use? I have had no problems with the OEM fluid that came with the car, but wondering if anything might be even better.
Thanks.

I should have asked you last night. Where do you get Amsoil?
I have the little 4oz bottle of GM additive already.

I just put a 411 differential from Speed Demon Motorsports and they told me to stick with the GM lubricant. I took they're advice and installed the OEM fluid.

Amsoil all the way here as well, no additional additive required.

Same here.
The gear oil needs no additive, but Dude, does it smell funky. Like full moon at the sorority.
