It would depend on how many miles you have on the car. I think more than 30k, get new lifters, less than 30k, save your money. The Comp 'R' lifters are pretty hard to set up as far as preload, it's much tighter than stock. They are also a variable lifter in that they collapse a bit during idle and pump up at higher rpm. This is supposed to give better torque at low rpm's and a better idle, and full lift at higher rpm's. The Comp R's are also rated for higher rpm's.
Unless you are going to spin consistenly above 6000rpm and occasionally above 7000rpm, and don't mind doing valve work every 5K miles, I would go with the Comp OE's.

I have gone full circle on this..
The Comp R's are the biggest piece of $h!t on the planet.
Hard to Setup, The bleed down on high RPM run (tic) and Typically have not seen the gains over stock. Not to mention a lot of issuse with guys blowing them apart fairly easy.

The only other race lifter to concider would be the Morrel lifter.

and I said "Race", the Stock ones will go to 6800 all day long with the right spring pressures.

I went with Comp Rs. Most tuners recommend them on their sites. MTI, TSP, etc For a street car they would be excellent. the key is to upgrade all powertrain parts so you cant have a weak link. thats the cost of doing a h/c upgrade.

If the big name tuners use them, they must be good!

Your valve spring rate will determine what you need, stockers run well, and are simple to setup, but will not hold the heaviest srpings out there. Start with your cam builders/head porter reccomendations, they will know what their combo needs. Comp R's are only slightly tougher to set up, and do run well.
