I have a stock 00 coupe MN6.
I can't get a good launch without excessive wheelhop with the stock runflats. I'm afraid if i put some drag tires on there, it will compound the problem. Anyone else have this problem and what's the fix?
With the run flats ... the only warming up you can really do is to simply drive them warm. Even reducing air pressure will not yield much if any benifit. A different tire all together may help.
At higher performance levels there are products that such as coil over springs that help to give more downward pressure to the road surface.
You may want to look into new or stiffer shocks. I developed that problem when I switched to Z06 wheels/tires. problem was solved when I swapped shocks and springs.
When you switched to Z06 wheels and tires, did you have runflats on them? As the other post says, it may be more of a runflat issue. My shocks are in good shape so it's a good possibility another tire could cure it or I might just get some sort of other suspension changes.
