new silverstar lights by sylvania

what do you guys and girls think of these new lights that produce a nice hid like effect for a lot less money? has anyone installed these on a c5 i know the stock lights are very poor and i am looking to upgrade. Any pics would be nice send them to ralphyc81@yahoo.com

I had the SS's in my car and they are a whiter light than stock.Yes they are better but not dramatically better.I now have HID's which are awesome.

I paid the 40 bucks for the Silverstars and was VERY unimpressed. I didn't notice much, if any, light output over stock. Plus, they didn't have much of a cool blue tint either.

I will HIGHLY recommend the C5 APC Xenon Plasma High Wattage H.I.D. Low Beam Bulbs from L.A.P.D. though.

I put these babys in and

They look GREAT AND I got a noticable gain in light output from them. Plus they were a whole lot cheaper.

I have the APC bulbs for nine months, very good white light.
