Default Need Help with exhaust install

I just ordered Borla Stingers for an 04 ZO6. Can I change stock exhaust with out a lift? I know you need about 3' can you get it that high with a floor Jack? Any tricks? Any suggestions?

I jacked mine up to the second hole on a regular set of 1 ton jack stands to replace my exhaust.
It was a little tight, but definitely do-able.
Just remember the stock centre section with cats and h-pipe can get a little heavy when it's on top of your chest for a while.
Good luck.

I think it's worth it to keep the titanium system intact, it's easy to find buyers.

You can get the back 3' off the ground at home without a lift, but the time, effort, Macguyvering, and risk is high compared to going to a shop, IMHO.

Once you move to a multi-piece aftermarket setup, it's a piece-of-cake to change it out.

If you cut the Ti system you can all but forget about ever selling it or putting it back on. Nobody around here can weld it.

When I installed mine I fully intended to pull the stock ones intact. I jacked the rear up as far as I was comfortable and it wasn't enough, so I hacked em off. Wouldn't suggust that with the Ti's....

It can be done with a jack, just depends what you comfort level is....
