Problem with oil pressure guage!!
I just had my oil change on my 2000 coupe with mobil 1 5w30. Now my oil pressure guage is not working. The guage stays at 80psi and the DIC displays 130psi consantly. When the key is turned on the guage goes to 80psi then back to 40psi then shoots back to 80psi when started. Does anyone have any suggestions or noticed anything similar?

You have a bad oil pressure sensor... a common C5 problem... changing the oil would have nothing to do with this...
The part is around 40 dollars.. the dealer wants anywhere from 250 to 450...for this repair.. these prices are from post by members who have had this done at the dealer..

the first one took me an hour and the second one took 45 minutes..
