"Traction Control - Warm-Up Complete" Message on DIC
After a 50 mile drive, parked & turned off engine for about 10 minutes. After re-starting, i drove about 10 ft & DIC readout flashes "Traction Control - Warm-Up Complete." It was about 52 degrees outside...not particularly warm...or cold...and engine was obviously warmed up after a 50 mile drive. Any ideas?
Totally normal. The message is related to the position and the movement of the car right after starting and driving away. I used to get it if I backed up and turned at the same time, i.e. out of my garage. It just signifies that the whole system is AOK. Nothing to worry about at all.

It means that it didn't get enough of a straight line to calibrate when you, initially, got under way. When it did you got the message. The system calibrates when you get under way after every ignition cycle.

"During the 1998 model year, just prior to production of cars with the Active Handling option, the Corvette's ABS brake hydraulic control unit will be relocated to the front of the engine compartment to facilitate quicker Active Handling system "warm-up" and shorten front brake response time when the brake fluid is cold. In temperatures below 14oF, the Corvette's Driver Information Center (DIC) will display an "Active Handling Warming Up" message as soon as the vehicle reaches 6-mph. That's a caution to the driver that Active Handling is not fully-functional yet. As soon as the system warms up, another message "Active Handling Warmed Up" will be sent to the driver via the DIC."
